Sodium hyaluronate is a polysaccharide found in the human eye and has unique water-retention properties. Its important water-retention properties result in increased hydration and lubrication of the corneal surface. Furthermore, its bioadhesive properties provide better adhesion of the product to the eye surface, allowing for long-lasting relief and a reduction in the time required for corneal healing. Therefore, thanks to the unique combination of trehalose and sodium hyaluronate, Thealuz Duo ensures the protection, hydration, and lubrication of the ocular surface for a longer period of time and with maximum comfort. For maximum tolerance, Thealuz duo is a preservative-free solution, thanks to the ABAK multidose bottle. This innovative and patented device allows the instillation of eye drops through a 0.2 µm filter membrane, preventing contamination of the solution by bacteria.
