Hemp seeds originate from Central Asia, where for hundreds of years their fibers have been used to produce paper, candles, and ropes, and their oil has traditionally been used to soothe skin lesions. In modern Europe, however, it has not received the same recognition, due to the years-long campaign against the use of cannabis and the prohibition of its cultivation because of its extraordinary similarity to the Cannabis Indica species, which possessed narcotic properties, unlike Cannabis Sativa.
Cannabis sativa oil is 100% pure, obtained by first cold pressing. It has a characteristic natural smell. It is also an oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, omega 3, 6, and 9, with an excellent omega-3 to omega-6 ratio suitable for human balance. It also contains tocopherols, phytosterols, and denolic compounds. Therefore, it is an oil with strong antioxidant, regenerative, and balancing properties. Hemp oil is not a comedogenic ingredient. This natural oil helps accelerate cell regeneration, delays aging, and helps moisturize the skin.
