The active ingredient in Rhinospray, tramazoline hydrochloride, has a vasoconstrictor action that reduces inflammation of the nasal mucosa, causing a lasting decongestion of the nasal ducts.
After intranasal administration of Rhinospray, local vasoconstriction usually occurs within 5 minutes and lasts 8 to 10 hours.
