In addition, in animals, it has a local anesthetic effect. Levodropropizine does not cause drowsiness or physical or psychological dependence. Therapeutic doses do not affect the central nervous system. Levodropropizine does not weaken respiratory capacity or mucociliary clearance (improvement of mucus flow and transport).
