To simulate this natural rhythm, the Lansinoh Compact Single Electric Breast Pump allows you to regulate these 2 phases: the Stimulation Phase and the Expression Phase. Stimulation Phase: the faster phase, which mimics the faster and shorter sucking process that the baby develops to initiate milk flow. Expression Phase: the phase that mimics the slower and deeper sucking process of feeding, offering 5 adjustable suction levels that can be adapted for greater comfort. When you turn on the breast pump, it starts in the Stimulation Phase at level 3, automatically switching to the Expression Phase after two minutes, meaning you don't need to press any buttons (if you don't want to). If milk starts flowing before the automatic transition, you can switch to the Expression Phase at any time by pressing the toggle button. The pump automatically shuts off if not used for more than 60 minutes.
