Guronsan belongs to the pharmacotherapeutic group XVIII-4, Medications used in the treatment of intoxications - Others, and presents itself as a powerful anti-asthenic resulting from the combined action of its three constituents: caffeine (psychological stimulant); glucuronamide (detoxifying agent by activation of glucuronide conjugation); and ascorbic acid (general tonic). Glucuronamide, by promoting and increasing the elimination of endogenous and exogenous toxins, and ascorbic acid, by allowing the replenishment of vitamin C levels to adequate values in situations that lead to a decrease in these levels, specifically various infectious situations, intoxications, alcoholism, and smoking, contribute to making Guronsan a particularly important detoxifying agent, widely used in a large number of situations. Guronsan is indicated in the following situations: - Symptomatic treatment of functional asthenia; - Endogenous and exogenous intoxications (smoking, alcoholism); - Drug intolerances; - Anorexia.
