Clotrimazole Farmoz contains clotrimazole, an antifungal medication used to treat infections caused by fungi, such as: Recurrent vaginal candidiasis, i.e., with a previous medical diagnosis. This vaginal infection is caused by a fungus called Candida and may manifest as: whitish vaginal discharge; itching in the vagina and surrounding areas; redness of the vagina and surrounding areas; unpleasant odor; pain in the vagina and vulva. It usually worsens before menstruation. Infection of the glans (tip of the penis) of the sexual partner by Candida, which may cause: pain and redness of the penis; tightness of the foreskin. If you are unsure whether you have any of these infections, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If your sexual partner experiences symptoms such as itching or inflammation of the genitals, they should inform their doctor as they may also need appropriate local treatment.
