Fermented Red Rice – an ally in the fight against cholesterol.
Therapeutic Indications:
Fermented Red Rice: Reduces cholesterol biosynthesis by inhibiting the metabolic precursor (enzyme) that produces intracellular cholesterol.
Folic Acid: Unable to synthesize it, our body obtains folic acid from some foods (such as: eggs, legumes, liver) or through supplementation. Folic acid deficiency is associated with high levels of homocysteine in the blood, an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
Vitamins B6 and B12: also contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine.
Dietary supplement.
