It is an antidiarrheal medication, in tablet form for oral administration, containing loperamide as the active substance (Group VII.6.b. Antidiarrheal, constipating medication), which, by reducing intestinal movements and secretions, leads to a decrease in loose stools.
The tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol, talc, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, colloidal silica and yellow iron oxide (E172).
