Ravintsara Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of the leaves of the Cinnamomum camphora tree, from the Lauraceae family.
Its origin is Madagascar and its chemotype is 1,8-cineole.
In Malagasy, the language spoken in practically the entire island of Madagascar, its name comes from "Ravina" which means leaf or tree and "tsara" good", that is, "good leaf" for everything.
