Java Citronella Essential Oil is obtained from the island of Java, Indonesia, although it is now also cultivated in other parts of the world.
Its botanical name is Cymbopogon winterianus, and it is widely used in perfumery, pharmaceuticals, and veterinary medicine.
Indications
Mosquito repellent.
Antiseptic cleaning product.
Muscle pain.
Oral use: 2 drops, 3 times a day in a neutral carrier (150 mg)
For mosquito repellent, use topically: add 2 drops of EO to a cream or lotion of usual use and apply to the legs, ankles, and arms. Synergy: Jojoba Citronella Essential Oil. Aroma Diffusion: Add 5-10 drops of essential oil to the aroma diffuser.
