Clotrimazole has a broad spectrum of activity, allowing it to effectively eliminate a large number of fungi responsible for various skin (dermatophytoses) and genital infections, including vaginal candidiasis affecting the vaginal area (vaginitis).
Vaginal candidiasis is an infection caused by a fungus called Candida that occurs quite frequently in women.
